y = 3x - 10 and y=2x-5

Answer:

x=5

y=5

y = 3x - 10 -----------(1)

y=2x-5------------(2)

Explanation:

put the value of y in 2nd equation

y=2x-5

=3x - 10=2x-5

=3x-2x=-5+10

= x=5,

now put the value of x in 1st equation.

y = 3x - 10

=y=3×5-10

=y=15-10

= y=5.

check

put the value of x and y in 1st equation.

y = 3x - 10

x=5,,y=5

=5=3×5-10

= 5=5
