Answer: the miss rate is 1 in 20 people

Explanation:

Let's assume that 100 diabetic persons are tested, the test results will show that 95% has the disease and 5% will be reported as not having diabetes

95% of 100 = 95

Therefore, 5 people will be missed and wrongly reported out of 100.

If 5 people is missed out of 100

The miss rate will be

5/100 = 1/20 by simplification.

Which means that 1 person out of every 20 persons tested will be missed.
