use Pythagoras A²+b²=c2

so 12²+9²

144+81 is 225

√225 is 15 inches

It's probably a right angle triangle. Verifying through pythagoras theorem:

20² = 12² + 16²

400 = 144 + 256

P1 = 20+12+16 = 48

48/P2 = 4/3

P2 = 48 × 3/4
