From your position at 42 degrees North latitude (Boston), you look directly north and see a star near the horizon. A little later you notice that it has shifted its position slightly. Which way did it move?

Answer: It moved to the East (right direction)

Explanation: This is because the stars move in a way the earth moves around its axis, since the earth moves clockwise starting from the North pole, the star that was seen in North and later moved slightly will move in the right direction, this means the star moved from North to East. This is because East falls on the right side to North on the cardinal point.
