Surface area of rectangular prism is 220 square units

Volume of rectangular prism is 200 cubic units

Solution:

The surface area of rectangular prism is given as:

A = 2(wl + hl + hw)

Where,

l is the length

w is the width

h is the height

From given,

l = 10 units

w = 4 units

h = 5 units

Substituting the values we get,

A = 2((4 * 10) + (5 * 10) + (5 * 4))

A = 2(40 + 50 + 20)

A = 2(110)

A = 220

Thus surface area of rectangular prism is 220 square units

Volume of rectangular prism

Volume = l * w * h\\\\Volume = 10 * 4 * 5\\\\Volume = 200

Thus volume of rectangular prism is 200 cubic units
