Answer: 4

Explanation:

The area of a trapezoid is given by :

A = (1)/(2)(a+b)h

where
a and
b are the parallel sides

h is the height .

Substituting into the formula , we have :

26 = (1)/(2)(5+8)h

multiply through by 2

52 = (5+8)h

52 = 13h

divide through by 13

4 = h

Therefore; height of the trapezoid = 4
