Answer:

-0.43

Explanation:

Mean is calculated by adding all the number and dividing them by the total amount of numbers.

6+(-10)+6+(-6)+5+4+(-8)= -3‬

Now we have the sum

There are a total of 7 numbers

-3/7=-0.42857142857142857142857142857143

rounded is -0.43

To find the mean of a set of data you must add the data together then divide the sum by the number of data in the set.

Step 1: Adding together the data

6 + (-10) + 6 + (-6) + 5 + 4 + (-8) = -3

Step 2: Count how many number there are in the data set

There are 7 numbers in this data set

Step 3: Divide the sum of the data (-3) by the number of data in the set (7)

-3 ÷ 7 =
(-3)/(7)

OR

-3 ÷ 7 ≈ -0.43

The mean of this data set is
(-3)/(7) OR -0.43

Hope this helped!
