Write the co-efficent of x in -5/2xyz

The coefficient is simply -5/2.

An expression, in this case -5/2xyz, is made up of the coefficient and the variables. We can see that the only number that prefaces the variables is -5/2.

As a result, we can take away the variables and keep the number -5/2, which would be the coefficient.

Hope this helps.

coefficient of any variable or number is removing that number or variable whatever is left is the coefficient.

so here...co-efficient is -5/2yz (here we removed the x and put the rest)
