Answer:

(i) 45.4 cans

(ii)15.23 boxes

Explanation:

From the question we know that each box contains same number of cans.

For boxes contains 26 cans of soda. Thus a box will contain, 26/4 number of cans = 6.5 number of cans.

(i) seven boxes contains = 7*6.5

=45.5 Number of cans.

(ii)Number of boxes needed to package 99 cans of soda = 99/6.5

= 15.23 number of boxes.

Answer:

(i) Approximately 46 cans (rounded off to whole number)

(ii)Approximately 15 boxes (rounded off to whole number)

Explanation:

26 cans in four boxes meaning 1 box has (26/4) cans

(i) 7 boxes will have (26/4) * 7 = 182/4 = 45.5 cans

Boxes needed to package 99 cans =(26/4)* numbers of boxes

(26/4)* numbers of boxes = 99

numbers of boxes = 99/(26/4) = 15.23
