Correct answer is option C.(-3,-5) and (3,7)

Explanation:

Let us take the value of y from equation y=2x+1 and plugin to the equation y=x2+2x-8

so

2x+1=x2+2x-8

taking constants on left hand side and literals on the right hand side

1+8=x2+2x-2x

9=x2

this implies that value of x=+3,-3

now plug in the value of x in the equation y=2x+1

when x=+3

y=2*3+1 = 7

so (3,7)

when x=-3

y=2*(-3)+1 = -5

so (3,-5)

hence the answer is (-3,-5) and (3,7)
