Answer:

(0, 2) (pi/4, 1) (pi/2, 0) (3pi/4, 1) (pi, 2)

Explanation:

New period is 2pi/2 = pi

Take intervals of new period/4 = pi/4

For the first positive cycle, take:

x= 0,

x= pi/4,

x= 2pi/4 = pi/2

x= 3pi/4

x= 4pi/4 = pi

Find the corresponding y values on the calculator (your calculator should be on radian mode)

x= 0, y= cos[2(0)]+1 = 2

x= pi/4 y= cos[2(pi/4)]+1 = 1

x = pi/2 y= cos[2(pi/2)]+1 = 0

x = 3pi/4 y= cos[2(3pi/4)]+1 = 1

x= pi y= cos[2(pi)]+1 = 2

(0, 2) (pi/4, 1) (pi/2, 0) (3pi/4, 1) (pi, 2)

These 5 coordinates should be enough for one cycle, copy the same cycle for "pi to 2pi" and the negative x-axis
