Answer:

A. New adaptation and anticipation

Step-by-step explanation:

Sensorimotor Stage

According to Jean Piaget in theory of child development, the sensorimotor is the first stage of child development.

The sensorimotor is then sub-divided into 6 stages. They are:

1. Reflexes

2. Primary circular reactions

3. Secondary circular reactions

4. Coordination of reactions

5. Tertiary circular reactions

6. Early representational thought.

New adaptation and anticipation is part of the stage 4 which is coordination of reactions. At this stage, child is usually between 8 months to 12 months old. Here, the begin to combine their learned abilities to achieve a certain goal. They recognize certain words and actions, react to noises and so on.
