Read the body paragraph from a personal statement. As part of a research project, I interviewed a librarian at our local library. He invited me on a "behind the scenes” tour. I’ve always loved books and research, so I jumped at the chance. I was totally captivated by the inner workings of library. Which is the best sentence to add to the end of the paragraph to fully develop the personal statement? Not only was the tour fun, but it also inspired me to apply for an internship at the library so I can investigate becoming a librarian. For my research project, I wrote about the tour and added photos that I took at the library, all of which earned me the best grade in our class. I realized I could take advantage of the library’s resources for my research project, so I could accomplish my goal of getting a good grade. The library was built in the last decade, so it’s still fairly new, and I was really impressed by the number of environmentally friendly features it has.

Answer: Not only was the tour fun, but it also inspired me to apply for an internship at the library so I can investigate becoming a librarian.

Step-by-step explanation:

This would be the most appropriate sentence for the ending of the personal statement because it is giving us the final impression of the everything that the writer has saw and experience during the time in library. His final impression is that this inspired him and he liked it.

Also, since this is about the personal statement it is good to have this kind of sentence at the end because he is talking about how he felt about the whole situation.
