PLEASE ANSWER

These two blocks have the same mass. Which block would have more kinetic energy when it reaches the ground and why?

A. Block A would have more kinetic energy since it is higher and has more potential energy to transform into kinetic energy.
B. Block B would have more kinetic energy since it is traveling faster. than block A
C. Block A would have more kinetic energy since it has more mass than block B.
D. Block B would have more kinetic energy since it is closer to the ground. and doesn't have as much potential energy.

the answer is A.
if the blocks are the same mass, then the amount of kinetic energy they would have depends on the height they were dropped from.
kinetic energy formula = 0.5 x mv^
where m = mass
v = velocity of object or the rate at which the object changes its position
