Two containers hold a mixture made out of two chemicals. In container A the two chemicals are in the ratio 1:2. In container B the same chemicals are in the ratio 1:1. If the containers are mixed together, and container B is twice the size of container A, what will be the ratio of the two chemicals in the final mixture?

Answer:

it will be 3:4 because first if you first multiply 1:1 times 2 that will give you 2:2. then if you add 1:2 + 2:2 that will give you 3:4 and that is your answer
