Start by distributing the 8x to get (8x)(3x) + (8x)(4). 8 times 3 equals 24 and x times x equals x^2, so 8x times 3x equals 24x^2. 8 times 4 equals 32, so 8x times 4 equals 32x. Therefore, 8x(3x+4) equals 24x^2 + 32x.
