Step 1: Add 5 to both sides -> 7|5x-3|=42

Step 2: Divide both sides by 7 -> |5x-3|=6

Step 3: Make two separate equations since we're dealing with absolute value -> 5x-3=6 and 5x-3=-6

Step 4: Solve each one

1st equation -> 5x-3=6 -> 5x=9 -> x=9/5

2nd equation -> 5x-3=-6 -> 5x=-3 -> x=-3/5

So the two solutions are x=9/5 and x=-3/5

Hope this helped and let me know in the comments if you have any questions!
