Summarize the key ideas in the following quote from Mao, given at the Meeting of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the socialist revolution (1957):

"The socialist countries are states of an entirely new type in which the exploiting classes have been overthrown and the working people are in power. The principle of integrating internationalism with patriotism is practiced in the relations between these countries. Common interests and common ideals closely bind us."

Mao talks about the commonality and camaraderie between two socialist nations.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mao Zedong here is outlining the basic tenets a socialist country is ideologically based on, that the working class is in power and there is no exploiting class to be over them.

This is supposed to do away with exploitation and create a uniform society This uniformity would make two socialist countries alike and not hamper national interests which is a point Mao makes here. Of global fraternity compatible to patriotism.
