Answer: One-group pretest-posttest design

Explanation: Quasi-experimental research designs are procedural techniques used in Observational studies which are similar to an experiment but lacks elements of random assignment to variables. The one group pretest-posttest design utilizes only a single group of participants which is measured before (pretest) and after(posttest) being given a certain treatment.

In the scenario above, the run time of the same team was recorded before(pretest) the start of the season and at the end(posttest) of the season.
