Answer: 6π

Explanation:

Area of a circle = πr².

To find the circumference, we have to find the radius first

Since the area of the circle in question is 9πcm²

9π = πr²

r² = 9π/π

r² = 9

r = +/-√9

= +/- 3.

To find the circumference now, we substitute for r in the formula above

Circumference = 2πr

= 2 x π x 3

= 6π.

Don't forget the π there must not be define

So the answer = 6π
