Suppose you live in an area where wave or tidal power can be generated. The government is proposing an increase in taxes to help build a wave or tidal power plant. The power plant will reduce your area's dependence on imported fossil fuels and will help reduce air pollution but will be very costly to start and may mean an increase in your taxes. In three or four sentences, describe your opinion on whether citizens should be asked to support these types of power plants through their taxes.

I think the government should find ways to lessen air pollution with reduced cost. In my opinion, these citizens should not support these types of power plants through their taxes. The government should also think about people who are less fortunate.
