The paradox that is carried out with the consumption of high protein diets. it is said that the individuals that consume high protein diet uses amino acid as a metabolic fuel source.

The amino acid groups are disposed as urea, which increases the flux through the urea cycle. In case of starvation when the carbohydrates of the body is completely consumed only protein is left in the body.

The high protein diet will increase the demand for the enzyme as the it will result ending up in the urea cycle.

So, more enzymes will be required for the urea cycle to take place.
