Explanation:

  • 3 ( 2x - 1 ) + 4x = 4 ( 3x - 1 ) - 9
  • 6x - 3 + 4x = 12x - 4 - 9
  • 10x - 3 = 12x - 13
  • - 3 + 13 = 12x - 10x
  • 10 = 2x
  • x = 10 / 2
  • x = 5
