The famous Miller-Urey experiment was conducted in 1953. This experiment tested the hypothesis that primitive Earth conditions were favoriable for creating complex organic compounds form simple compounds.

Answer:

Inputs; water (H2O), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen gas (H2), hydrocarobon (CH4) Output; amino acids

Step-by-step explanation:

Miller and Urey conducted the experiment to test the chemical origin of life or when the life started on earth whether the conditions on earth made it possible for chemical to produce complex organic molecules on earth.

He took mixture of reducing gases such as water, ammonia, methane and hydrogen gas and treats them with electric discharge to produce several amino acids. He made a closed system and tried the match the conditions of experiment as early conditions on earth. His experiment explained that some of the building blocks of complex molecules like DNA could be formed from these compounds spontaneously.
