Answer : The amount of methane produced by the cows in Texas in 2013 was,
8.54* 10^(11)g

Explanation :

As we are given that 1 cow produces 207 g of methane in one day. Now we have to determine the amount of methane was produced by the cows in Texas in 2013.

First we have to determine the amount of methane produced in 1 day.

As, 1 cow produces methane in one day = 207 g

So, 11,300,000 cow produces methane in one day = 11,300,000 × 207 g

= 2339100000 g

Now we have to determine the amount of methane produced in 2013.

As we know that, 1 years has 365 days.

As, in 1 day cow produces methane = 2339100000 g

So, in 365 days cow produces methane = 365 × 2339100000 g

=
8.54* 10^(11)g

Thus, the amount of methane produced by the cows in Texas in 2013 was,
8.54* 10^(11)g
