Answer:

Let second no is x

Then 1st no is 8+x

6 times to the 1st no is 6*(8+x)

Then second no is 2x-12

Then the equation is

6*(8+x)=2x-12

48+6x=2x-12

6x-2x=-48-12=-60

4x=-60

X=-60/4=-15

Then 1st no is - 15+8=-7

2nd no is - 15

Answer:

X=-7

y=-15

Explanation:

6(y+8)=2y-12

6y+48=2y-12

6y-4y=2y and -48+-12=-60

4y=-60

y=-15

x=-7
