(4 + 5) is greater than 3·4 + 5
by 8.
Explanation:
Step 1: Value of (4 + 5) = 9
Step 2: Value of 3·4 + 5 = 12 + 5 = 17 (as per BODMAS rule)
Step 3: Find the difference between the two.
⇒ 17 - 9 =
8
