Important theme in “The Trout”:
On an increasingly otherworldly level, "The Trout" can be perused as an account of a little youngster's longing for the riddle and he would like to keep seeing the world with wonderment, in the struggle with her developing acknowledgment that in reality, doing nothing has its outcomes.
The piece is known as the Trout on the grounds that the fourth development is a lot of minor departure from Schubert's prior Lied "Pass on Forelle" ("The Trout"). The initial two sections have a similar structure yet change for the last refrain to give a melodic impression of the trout being gotten. In the Deutsch list of Schubert's works, it is number 550, or D. 550.
