Recently, beekeepers have noticed an alarming and sudden disappearance of honeybees from their hives. Some beekeepers and environmentalists worry that crops genetically engineered to contain the gene for the Bt insecticidal toxin may be killing the bees. Without data from a scientific experiment, is it reasonable to state that Bt-containing crops are responsible for the loss of honeybees? Yes or No and why?

c. No, because there could be some other unknown or unmentioned factor affecting the survival of honeybees. T/F

Answer:True

Explanation:No, because there could be some other unknown or unmentioned factor affecting the survival of honeybees. Without a scientific experiment one can not be certain that this is the only cause because it can be other factors such as environmental issues that may be affecting the survival of bees or people harvesting the bee cakes illegally from these hives which may upset and cause bees to leave , it could be many factors which can only be established if an experiment is carried out.
