Answer:

Alcohol fermentation is metabolic process where by lactate and ATPs are produced during in absence of oxygen

Lactic Acid fermentation is a metabolic process where by glucose is broken down to Alcohol, CO2 and energy(ATPs. The C02 is the waste product.

Step-by-step explanation:

Differences

Lactic acid fermentation is straight step from Pyruvate to Lactic acid

Alcoholic fermentation is a two way step- pyruvate to ethanal to ethanol

Endproducts

Lactic acid fermentation ; lactase and Energy

Alcoholic fermentation- C02 , Alcohol and energy

Enzymes

Lactate dehydrogenase and pyruvate decarboxylase are the enzymes of lactic acid fermentation reactions

The two enzymes involved in alcoholic fermentation are; Pyruvate decarboxylase and alcohol dehydrogenase

Similarities.

→The two processes breakdown glucose to produce ATPs

→The main goal pf the two processes is to recycle NAD+ so that the process of glycolysis will not stop, but continues, for the NAD+ to return and reduced to NADH in glycolysis.

→Both process are exergonic., gives out heat energy

→Both produce the same number of ATPs, 4 ATPs of glycolysis.

→Both takes place in absence of oxygen

→Both takes place in Cystosol of cytoplasm

→Both is preceded with glycolsysis.
