Explanation:

Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal, hence sides

AB = DC

4y-2 = 2y+6

2y=8

y=4

and

BC = AD

2x+2=3x-1

x=3

AB = 4Y-2

y=4

AB=14

BC=2x+2

x=3

BC=8

Perimeter = 2 X (AB + BC)

= 2 X (14+8)

= 44
