Answer:

Volume of cylinder is 953.77 cm³ and volume in term of π is 303.75π

Explanation:

Given: Diameter is 9 cm

Height is 15 cm.

First lets find out the radius of cylinder.

As given, diameter is 9 cm

we know, radius=
(diameter)/(2)

Radius=
(9)/(2) = 4.5\ cm

Now, finding the volume of the cylinder.

Formula; Volume of cylinder=
\pi r^(2) h

where r is radius and h is height of cylinder.

⇒ Volume of cylinder=
\pi * 4.5^(2) * 15

⇒Volume of cylinder=
\pi * 20.25* 15

⇒Volume of cylinder=
303.75\pi

Taking π = 3.14

⇒ Volume of cylinder=
303.75* 3.14

Volume of cylinder= 953.77 cm³

Hence, volume of cylinder is 953.77 cm³ and volume in term of π is 303.75π.
