Answer: {
{ -5 , -1 , 3 , 7 , 11 } }

Explanation:

Given :

f(x) = 4x - 1

domain = {
-1 , 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 }

To find the range , we will substitute the domain as the value of x into the function given , that is

when x = - 1

f(x) = 4 (-1) - 1

f(x) = -5

when x = 0

f(x) = -1

when x = 1

f(x) = 4(1) - 1

f(x) = 3

When x = 2

f(x) = 7

when x = 3

f(x) = 11

Therefore: the range =
{ -5 , -1 , 3 , 7 , 11 }
