since (y) is already solved, you would substitute the y in the second equation so:

y=4 and -4x-3y=12

-4x-3(4)=12 ( Distribute )

-4x-12=12.

( add 12 to both sides to remove the constant )

-4x=24

( divide both sides by the coefficient so -4)

x=-6

now write it as an ordered pair (x,y): (-6,4)
