Trey planted the bean seeds 0.625 deep than carrot seeds

Solution:

Given that,

Trey plants carrot seeds =
(1)/(4) deep

Trey plants bean seeds =
(7)/(8) deep

To find: Expression can be used to find how much deeper Trey planted the bean seeds than the carrot seeds

We have to find the difference

Difference = \text{Bean seed depth - Carrot seed depth }

Substituting the values we get,

Difference = (7)/(8) - (1)/(4)\\\\Difference = (7)/(8) - (2)/(8)\\\\Difference = (5)/(8) = 0.625

Thus Trey planted the bean seeds 0.625 deep than carrot seeds
