How many solutions does the system of equations below have?

y = 8x - 7

Answer: No Solution

Explanation:

To solve this system of equations, set the two equations equal to each other and get: 8x - 7 = 8x + 4/5.

However, notice that if you consolidate the x terms and subtract 8x, you get 0 - 7 = 4/5.

7 can never equal 4/5, so there is no solution :)
