Diameter of cylinder is 20 cm

Solution:

Given that,

Volume of cylinder = 2512 cubic centimeter

Height = 8 cm

To find: Diameter of cylinder

The volume of cylinder is given as:

Volume = \pi r^2 h

Where, "r" is the radius and "h" is the height

Substituting the given values we get,

2512 = 3.14 * r^2 * 8\\\\2512 = 25.12 * r^2\\\\r^2 = (2512)/(25.12)\\\\r^2 = 100\\\\r = 10

Thus radius is 10 cm

We know that,

Diameter = 2(radius)

Diameter = 2(10) = 20 cm

Thus diameter of cylinder is 20 cm
