PLEASE HELP im lowkey having a mental breakdown.

David wants to buy 2 pineapples and some bananas. 1 pineapple is $2.99. Bananas are $0.65 per pound. David wants to spend less than $10.00 Write an inequality that represents the number of pounds of bananas David can buy to the nearest tenth of a pound.

2(2.99)+0.65x is greater than or equal to $10.00

he could by 6 pounds of bananas and still spend less than 10 dollars, plug 6 in for x and solve. you should get $9.88. it would be correct because he’s still spending less than $10 like he wants.
