Answer:

y - 7 = 9(x - 4)

Explanation:

The equation of a line in point- slope form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

Here m = 9 and (a, b) = (4, 7), thus

y - 7 = 9(x - 4) ← equation in point- slope form

Answer:

Y = 9X-29

Explanation:

y = mx + b

P1 : ( 4 , 7 )

m = 9

using equation of line ,

y = mx + b

7 = ( 9 ) (4 ) + b

7 - 36 = b

b = -29 ,

hence equation of line is ,

y = 9x - 29 answer
