I’m the Indian Removal what were the native peoples connection to the land?

Indigenous removal was the policy of the United States government to relocate indigenous tribes east of the Mississippi River to the area west of the river. This policy was carried out in the 19th century, and led to the formation of the Indigenous Territory, current state of Oklahoma, to house the removed tribes.
