The reciprocal of a number is pretty much just flipping it over.

Explanation:

An example is the reciprocal of 8 is 1/8.

The reciprocal of 1/5 is 5

4/7 is 7/4

The only number you cannot find the reciprocal of is 0. It's just 0.

More examples:

1 = 1 because 1/1 is the same as 1

2 = 1/2

3 = 1/3

100 = 1/100

-5 = -1/5

1/8 = 8
