Answer: y=3x+4

Explanation:

slope-interept = y=mx+b, first we need to find the slope. To find the slope, we need to use the formula
m=(y_(2)- y_(1))/(x_(2) -x_(1))

m=(-8-4)/(-4-0) \\\\ m=(-12)/(-4) \\\\ m=3

To find the y-intercept, You can use either (x,y) point you want because the answer comes out the same for both points.

(0,4). y=mx+b or 4=3 × 0+b, or solving for b: b=4-(3)(0). b=4.

(-4,-8). y=mx+b or -8=3 × -4+b, or solving for b: b=-8-(3)(-4). b=4.

y=3x+4

Hope this helps, now you know the answer and how to do it. HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great Valentines Day! :-)
