Incomplete Question Consider here NS = SQ then we may solve for NQ

Answer:

Therefore,

NQ=54\ units

Explanation:

Consider N -S -Q as a Straight line as shown in the figure below such that,

NS = 2x + 7

SQ = 5x -23

NS =SQ ..............Consideration

To Find:

NQ = ?

Solution:

NS =SQ .....Given Consideration

Substituting the values we get

2x+7=5x-23\\\\3x=30\\\\x=(30)/(3)=10

Therefore,

NS = 2* 10 + 7 = 27

SQ = 5* 10 -23=27

N -S-Q is a Straight Line,

Then BY Line Addition Postulate,

NQ=NS+SQ ...............N-S-Q

Substituting the values we get

NQ=27+27=54\ units

Therefore,

NQ=54\ units

If NS = 2x + 7 and SQ = 5x - 23, find NQ-example-1
