What is the affect of grey water on plants

grey water tends to be alkaline due to the cleaning products it contains and because of this it should not be used to irrigate acid-loving plants.

grey water with pH in excess of 8 can lead to increased soil pH and reduced availability of some micro-nutrients for plants, and thus affecting the growth of plants
