Do you think it was a good idea for the United States to participate in World War I and abandon its isolationist traditions?

Answer:

The answer is stated below.

Step-by-step explanation:

I don't think it was a good idea because of the consequences that followed. The treaty of Versailles was refused despite the efforts of then-president Wilson and the U.S failed to become a member of League of Nations. Secondly, declaring war on Germany was not justified because Germans have used the same policy in war zone for a long time and reason to break the isolationist stand seems to lie in the political and economic interest of the United States.
