\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}♨

Here we go ~

To find Highest common factor (HCF) we have to check what primes are common between them along with their exponent. And multiply them ~

here, we get [ 2³ and 3 as common ]

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:HCF = {2}^(3) * 3

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:HCF = {8}^{} * 3

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:HCF = 24

So, HCF of the given numbers is 24
