Jimmy and his brother bought chocolate at the store. Jimmy bought a certain number of pieces, and his brother bought ten fewr than half the number Jimmy bought. Write an expression to represent how many pieces of cany Jimmy's brother bought.

Answer:

Lets say Jimmy is represented by J. And his brother is represented by B. The total of their candy is T.

J + B = T

B = 1/2J - 10

You would plug in any numbers that you know and then get your answer.
