Answer:

7.5 inches.

Explanation:

Angular velocity (ω) in radians per minute

= 16* 2π (as there are 2π radians in 1 revolution)

= 32π radians per minute.

= ω.

Linear velocity V = ω r where r = the radius of the circle.

Therefore: 240π = 32π r

r = 240 / 32

r = 7.5 inches.
