The radius of grape is 1 cm

Solution:

Given that,

The volume of an object is equal to the ratio of its mass to density

Volume = (mass)/(density)

From given,

Mass = 8.4 grams

Density = 2 grams per cubic centimeter

Substituting in above formula,

Volume = (8.4)/(2) = 4.2\ cm^3

Given is a spherical grape

The formula for volume of sphere is given as:

Volume = (4)/(3) \pi r^3

Where, "r" is the radius of sphere

4.2 = (4)/(3) * 3.14 * r^3\\\\4.2 = 4.187 * r^3\\\\r^3 = (4.2)/(4.187)\\\\r^3 = 1.003\\\\\text{Take cube root on both sides}\\\\r = 1.000999 \approx 1

Thus the radius of grape is 1 cm
