y = 2x - 3......(1)

x + y = 15......(2)

Putting (1) in (2)

x + 2x - 3 = 15

3x = 15 + 3

3x = 18

x = 18/3

x = 6

And y = 2x - 3

y = 2(6) - 3

y = 12 - 3

y = 9

The point of interception is x = 6 and y = 9
